The Association has been working with PwC since 2018 and, beginning with the 2023 survey, with Preqin as well to measure fund performance by aggregating the investment performance of private equity funds managed by the Association’s members. This performance measurement shows that, in aggregate, private equity funds in Japan have returned above the public market average.
